Community Week
Join us for a memorable week on our tidal island. Step into the rhythm of community life for a week (or more) as we garden, cook and nurture the land and each other.
Spend your days outdoors in this wild setting: exploring the island, swimming in the sea or simply taking time to pause. There’s space here to reconnect— with nature, with yourself and with a slower pace of living.
Moments of reflection and meditation are woven into the week alongside community tasks such as gardening, cooking/baking, animal care, wood splitting and homecare.
Come and discover the quiet richness of living and working in connection— to a place that our guests often describe as ‘coming home’.

A glimpse into the week
Saturday. Arrivals, introductions, and nourishing food. Get settled in to your cottage for the coming week.
Sunday. Start of the Week meditation with angel cards and intention setting. After lunch, we’ll head out for an orientation walk across the island.
Monday and Tuesday. Morning meditation followed by a group plan for the day. You’ll join us in the seasonal activities of island life – growing food, cooking, chopping wood, caring for the animals, looking after the cottages, and much more. We’ll come together for communal lunch, dinner and tea breaks.
Wednesday offers a chance to visit Iona, with its mystical beaches and ancient abbey. We’ll drive you to Fionnphort to catch the ferry, and arrange a time to collect you later in the day.
Thursday we pick up where we left off with projects or other needed activities. Meditation and communal meals punctate the day, like on Mon/Tue.
Friday is for tidying in the houses and goodbyes. We close the week with an End of the Week meditation and an invitation to reflect and share your experience.

Island-grown food
Your booking includes accommodation and meals.
Meals are vegetarian and made with nourishing fresh, organic produce from our gardens. When the tides and weathers allow, we enjoy fishing and are beginning to explore the abundance of seaweed, so we may occasionally share offerings from the sea as well.
Lighthouse Keepers’ cottages
We live together in a row of former Lighthouse Keepers’ cottages, warmed by woodburners and surrounded by quiet beauty.
Rooms are within shared houses. We offer shared and private bedrooms. Living communally is part of life here — an opportunity to embrace a more intentional way of being together.
