Island week

Ready for an unforgettable week on our tidal isle? Join in the rhythm of community life for a week (or even better, two!) as we garden, cook and clean. Reconnect with yourself and nature in this wild setting, explore the island and dip in the sea. Give yourself time for reflection, meditation and movement.

Discover that every day can be a gift working in connection with each other and the island.

Prices: £550-£750 depending on room type.

* If the cost is a barrier for you, reach out to us at lightkeepers@erraid.uk — we’re happy to explore possibilities together.

A Glimpse Into the Week

Saturday is a gentle landing day. Arrivals, soft introductions, and nourishing food set the tone for the days ahead.

Sunday begins with a late-morning Start of the Week meditation. In the afternoon, we’ll head out for an orientation walk across the island, maybe a swim, and end with a warming dinner together.

Monday and Tuesday start with a morning meditation and plan for the day’s activities. You’re encouraged to join us as we work together until 5pm, when there’s another opportunity to meditate, with breaks for tea and lunch. After dinner, the evenings are yours to enjoy as you wish.

Wednesday offers a chance to visit Iona, with its mystical beaches and ancient abbey. We’ll drive you to Fionnphort to catch the ferry, and arrange a time to collect you later in the day.

Thursday morning is our community clean — a time to care for the shared spaces together. After lunch, we pick up where we left off with projects or other needed activities. Meditation and dinner end the day, like on Mon/Tue.

Friday is for tidying in the houses, resetting, and goodbyes. We close the week with an End of the Week meditation and an invitation to reflect and share your experience.

Your booking includes accommodation and meals.

Meals are vegetarian and made with fresh produce from our organic gardens. When the tides and weathers allow, we enjoy fishing and are beginning to explore the abundance of seaweed — so we may occasionally share offerings from the sea as well.

We’re happy to provide options for gluten-free and vegan diets. If you have any specific dietary needs or restrictions, please let us know when you complete your online check-in after booking.

A Place to Rest Deeply

Our accommodation is simple yet comfortable. We live together in a row of former Lighthouse Keepers’ cottages, warmed by woodburners and surrounded by quiet beauty.

Rooms are within shared houses. We offer shared and private bedrooms. Living communally is part of life here — an opportunity to embrace a more intentional way of being, together.
