Ready for an unforgettable week on our tidal isle?
There are several ways to stay with us:
Erraid Experience
Join in the rhythm of community life for a week (or even better, two!) as we garden, cook and clean.
Discover that every day can be a gift working in connection with each other and the island.
– Prices from: £550
* If the cost is a barrier for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at Lightkeepers@erraid.uk — we’re happy to explore possibilities together.
Erraid Retreat
Reconnect with yourself and nature in this wild setting.
Give yourself time for reflection, meditation or movement. Maybe take a day to explore the island and dip in the sea. With our extensive library of spiritual and fiction books you could simply nestle in front of a cosy fire for an afternoon, or perhaps you’ll feel called to join in with a few of the day to day activities of community life. Its up to you.
You will share a house with a member of our community or other guests but we will not ask you to share a bedroom.
– Prices from £750

Facilitate on Erraid
We welcome bespoke programs and courses here. If you’re a facilitator interested in hosting in our unique island setting, we’d love to hear from you. We’re especially keen to connect with local facilitators from the Ross of Mull, and those offering teachings that align with our values and the culture of the bioregion.
A Glimpse Into the Week
Saturday is a gentle landing day. Arrivals, soft introductions, and nourishing food set the tone for the days ahead.
Sunday begins with a late-morning Start of the Week meditation. In the afternoon, we’ll share tea/coffee or soup before heading out for an orientation walk across the island, maybe a swim, and end with a warming dinner together.
Monday and Tuesday start with a morning meditation, sharing circle, and plan for the day’s activities. We work together until 5pm, when there’s another opportunity to meditate, with breaks for tea and lunch. After dinner, the evenings are yours to enjoy as you wish.
Wednesday offers a chance to visit Iona, with its mystical beaches and ancient abbey. We’ll drive you to Fionnphort to catch the ferry, and arrange a time to collect you later in the day.
Thursday morning is our community clean — a time to care for the shared spaces together. After lunch, we pick up where we left off with projects or other needed activities. Meditation and dinner end the day, like on Mon/Tue.
Friday is for cleaning in the houses, resetting, and goodbyes. We close the week with an End of the Week meditation and an invitation to reflect and share your experience.

Your booking includes accommodation and meals.
Meals are mostly vegetarian and, whenever possible, made with fresh produce from our gardens. When the tides and weathers allow, we enjoy fishing and are beginning to explore the abundance of seaweed — so we may occasionally share offerings from the sea as well.
We’re happy to provide options for gluten-free and vegan diets. If you have any specific dietary needs or restrictions, please let us know when you complete your online check-in after booking.
A Place to Rest Deeply
Our accommodation is simple yet comfortable. We live together in a row of former Lighthouse Keepers’ cottages, warmed by woodburners and surrounded by quiet beauty.
Rooms are within shared houses, and you may be paired with another guest. Living communally is part of life here — an opportunity to embrace a slower, more intentional way of being, together.
We’ll do our best to match you with your preferred room type, but final arrangements may shift depending on the changing needs of the island. We appreciate your openness and understanding in this.

This twin room has atmospheric sea views, looking out across the water to the end of the Ross of Mull.
Access to the ajoining twin room (with a hill view) is through this room

This twin room with a hill view looks out over our communal back gardens and the wilder island beyond.
Please be aware that access to this room is through the ajoining twin room (with a sea view).

For couples or retreat guests, this double room with a hill view is a perfect space to rest after a day of island life.
